I don’t advocate running a ton of addons, but here I’ll list the ones I think are most important or useful to a hunter. The only one I definitely recommend you get is some kind of auto shot timer. It’s possible to play without one and learn the timing, but having a simple visual cue will still be very helpful.After that it’s mostly up to convenience and preference. You’ll find some of my favorite quality of life addons that are not hunter specific below. Shot & Swing TimersA shot timer addon is the most important addon for hunters.

It will help you optimize the rotation to make sure you do not clip your auto attackby shooting or moving during the 0,5 second wind-up and make it easier to time movement when kiting or repositioning. Essential when raiding and very useful when leveling. Additionally it can be useful to have a weapon swing timer for your melee weapon when you are weaving melee attacks. There’s a few options available and I’ll list the ones I have tried out in beta. They all do the job. A weapon swing timer and shot timer in one made by LeftHandedGlove. Useful for any class that would want a swing timer and very good for hunters as it also has an optional shot timer.

Has a lot of customization options to configure it to your own preferences.Aviana’s YaHT is a simple but effective timer. Shows reload time, Aimed shot, multi-shot and auto shot cast times.An alternative to YaHT by MinguasBeef. Has the same features, but a different look where the bar grows from one side to the other more like a standard cast bar.Quality of Life addonsHere’s a few of my favorite QoL addons that can make your Classic WoW journey a bit easier.Questie will make available quests and locations for current quest objectives appear on your map.

Very useful for leveling in Classic WoW if you don’t mind having a helping hand.One of many similar addons that automatically vendors all your grey junk items when at a vendor and displays item prices when out in the world. Useful to keep your bags clean and maximize your vendor gold when leveling or farming.
